But I really need to thank those of you who post articles diligently and regularly... I am sure that I would be 1/10th as informed as I am without this place. I use it as my primary news source and have been here for almost three years... so a lot of you posting above are familiar faces. I appreciate all the hard work and time you put into keeping all of this together.

And... most importantly, it has been a great comfort to have this forum to know that there are other people out there who care and have similar thoughts and feelings.

And in response to some of the posts above: I didn't lie. I am who I say I am... I am just not who they wanted me to be. If they had asked what I thought about 9/11, I would have told them... Can I help it if my mind happens to wander to more pertinent subjects for a newscast?

I was invited to be on and share my opinion because I had been interviewed for the Seattle P-I. Maybe if you want to get on, send out a press release for a benign story/subject idea on FOX where they would try to do a "live" phone interview with you.

I have to completely disagree with you on the Tee-shirt ideas: They were phrased that way for a purpose:

I think when you tell people they don't matter... they get angry...

And its the ANGRY people who make the effort... not the ones you try to cajole into going to the polls.

It's the angry liberals who are going to change anything. Look at how effective sending off email petitions is... or sending emails or letters to congressmen... or saying, please listen to us... oh please be fair

I think we have to make people listen to us whether they like it or not...

Some people here have already bought into the Republican talking point that "Anger is a bad thing... and Americans just don't like it." Gee, I guess we bombed Iraq because of our rationality. And I guess people turn in to O'Reilly because he is so laid back and understanding. Americans are interested in anger... and they will pay attention when they see it. Republicans know this and that is why they want to have a monopoly on it. They pulled a reverse psycology stunt that seems to be working around here...

The difference between us and the Republicans is that we have a reason to be Angry... and we can do it in a way that is intelligent, funny, or even... calm.

I'd propose that this method be used with regularity, but I'm a bit puzzled. On radio, a delay of a few seconds is used so that bad language can be "dumped".

Why aren't they using that method on TV? If they are, then they made a conscious decision to let your comment stand. If they are not, they will be soon :(

That's why I rambled in the beginning... rather than just start in... to put them off guard. I knew I only had about ten words before they cut me. I wanted to add: "... and whose side are you on?"

I don't live in the U.S. unfortunately... but the ideal thing would be to try to show up as a studio guest on some shows and just start asking questions... calm, rational, questions that exposes them... makes it a little hard to cut the mike without destroying the show...

Think of all the game shows, talk shows, etc. Most people are so happy to get on Television that they always play along... but who says they have to... or even should?

Follow the "Live" trucks around and as soon as they are on air (has to be live, talking to the studio... wouldn't work with a taped segment obviously). Walk up right behind them with an anti Bush sign. Or use a Bullhorn...

Could be a very effective way to get the mo-fos to start paying attention. Imagine making it impossible for them to have their little "live" cutaways.
