Bush at 53 percent in CNN poll - drops 6 points in less than a week!
Found that nugget at http://www.pollingreport.com
What's really amusing is http://www.gallup.com mentions the poll toward the bottom of the page with the headline "Bush approval drops slightly." Ha! Talk about spin! Six points in less than a week ain't slight. BTW, every recent poll shows Bush sliding 1-10 points, with most polls having the decline at least 4 points.
For those wondering about the 58 percent ABC poll, keep this in mind: Though he dropped only 1 point over his last poll, in the head-to-head matchup with the generic Dem, he went from a 10-point lead to a 2-point margin, which is within the poll's MOE.

2. As the job market continues it's slide...
So will Bush's numbers. His biggest liability has always been himself. Perhaps tonight we'll get a glimpse of who's going to challange him. I have every confidence that any one of our candidates can beat shrub.

10. If the media won't say he's lying, we will.
Obviously, word gets around.

9. No
The CNN poll ending Jan. 11 had Bush at 59 percent, and the one ending Jan. 15 has him at 53. And if you go back a bit further, he was at 60 percent right after the new year.

5. I think it will just get worse for him when this campaign hits the
national level and we are in full GE gear. There are going to be some tough questions asked of him that he isn't going to be able to answer. Example, why didn't you give an extension to the 9/11 investigation panel, but extended the vote on medicare?

BAM!

Spin your way out of that one you weasly little prick.

11. He doesn't dare.
There'd be nothing left to fear except Bush himself.

Not to mention all those questions about his bin Laden relationships.

Then there is a 10-point margin for error! Reality would be 43%.

12. I wonder at the reasons
for the drop. The O'Neill revelations? Continuing deaths and injuries in Iraq? The extension of military tours of duty? Continued sluggishness in job growth?

18. One of the reasons might be Democrats getting more facetime on tv
and people realize there are 9 people running who look like a better potential president than dickweed* ?

really someone I know who has only been half paying attention to anything saw Kerry on tv Sunday a.m. and said she REALLY liked him.
And who came out with late decideds tonight?

I am still uncommitted, although at one time I thought Kerry was the logical choice, but of late, I had thought his campaign was dead.

But I think it means people are starting to pay attention to dems, and suddenly Junior just looks like the Texass trash he is.
