instead of watching the SOTU...
I'm going to see LotR again.

I'm also going to have to skip the newspaper tomorrow. Anything that spews from that POS not-really-the-POTUS is to be avoided at all costs.

Classic philosophical question - If the moron speaks and no one listens, does he say anything?

1. I am going to watch the idiot
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 04:34 PM by Marianne
and sneer at him out loud. We have decided we will watch, boo at him for everything he utters in his ignorance and his lies, sneer, curse and make fun of the idiot that thinks he giving us a "state of his union" I want to see if Kerry or Edwards will be the focus of the cameras. Getting the snacks ready now. :-)

6. Me Too
I am going to watch it, as long as I can stand it. If we do not watch, who is going to catch the mis-information, the lies and spin. Hillary will be on camera a lot as will Kerry and Edwards.

4. I would urge everyone
to watch the speech. To bury one's head in the sand and pretend it does not exist, is to pass up a chance to observe the enemy in action and make battle plans.

10. there is not enough sand in the Sahara
to cover up the crap that Junior drops in the litter box.

And, it doesn't take a weatherman to know... We all know what he will say and how he will lie and no matter if everyone watched, there would be no coverage by the media.

Just listening to the Dems cut each other to pieces is disheartening enough. They are doing Rove's work for him.

I find myself thinking that trying to fight within a system that is so rigged against us is hopeless. And after seeing countless delusional, optimistic, postings here over the past four years, that belief is only reinforced. We Dems do not like to fight, at least, fight the real enemy. Unless we decide to get serious about stopping bush and the repukes, we are just going to be wasting time and energy.

Honestly, I am not optimistic at all concerning this coming November. I would love to be wrong, but...

the drapery (lined of course) fabric from the oval office, or the sateen, embroidered upholstry from the couch.

5. watch this, before and after; compare the two
this has been around.....just found it during spring cleanup, but it's
much closer to the truth than anything you'll see tonight, during the speech and afterwards, during the bootlicking-I mean analysis.

8. Nope...
There is no way I can watch it. Last year, I broke a speaker because I threw something at the TV. Watching the SOTU this year, could be very expensive for me.

17. Ehh, I'm going to watch Barbarians on the History channel.
Anything he has to say will be in the paper tomorrow and I can go over it then without have to look at the face and hear the voice.
