Haliburton supplying gasoline in Northern California?
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 04:59 PM by patmacsf
When did Haliburton start supplying gasoline in my neighborhood? A walk through my neighborhood this afternoon showed gasoline at three stations at the following prices for the three grades: $1.99, $2.09, and $2.25 per gallon. I thought we were an OPEC nation now?!? Where are the Congressional hearings for the victims of George Bush's "corporate eagles" here in Northern California?!

1. Crude oil hit $36 a barrel today.
Partly because a major multi-week cold snap has been predicted.

3. Don't complain
You ain't seen nothin' yet.

We're on the dreaded Oil Plateau. In other words, we will never see gas as as cheap as it has been again.

Well, maybe from time to time it will dip down, but not for very long.

$30/barrel seems to be the new "price floor". In the event of a Bush win and another war, that could easily become $50/barrel.

Time to scrape the rust off the bicycles.

4. Imperial Family, Friends, Allies and Assorted Stooges are above the law
And the Great Energy Theft of 2001 has shown all Bushevik allies and even those oil companies not directly aligned with the Imperial Family that they can do whatever they wish to the Imperial Province of Kallie-fornia and not get inevstigated, let alone prosecutewd.

Now that Emperor-in-Waiting Arnold is in charge of your Province, you can expect that to be doubly true, though very likely it will protect your Imperial province from being looted for $7,000,000,000 as it was when a Democratic Governor was in charge of the State of California.

But there's nothing to stop those relatively small thefts.
