I'm watching Today's committee hearing on C-Span. She refuses to give a straight answer regarding overtime pay and keeps repeating this same bullshit. It's truly sickening.

1. I watched that hearing live.

Elaine Chao is more than an ass. She is a bald-faced liar. She lied like hell to Specter, too. But I'm not sure whether or not all of those questions he asked her were real, or just to waste time. The ones about the phone call and meeting. Anyway, Specter went on to vote for the Spending bill this afternoon. So he's a waste.

2. She is an abomination as Secretary of Labor.

But any other Bush appointee would be just as bad. I think the democrats could get some mileage out of attackng the nepotism in Washington even though they play the same game.
