One word sums up Neo-con logic ---- Hypocrisy
Only with a public that has such a short attention span and memory loss can they get away with the lies that were perpetrated to launch the invasion of Iraq.

1. Links between Iraq and Al-Qaeda

(A)Depending on how cynical you want to be in parsing the language in the neo-con speak - "links" mean that, Ansar Al-Islam, an Al-Qaeda linked organization operating in the north of Iraq where Saddam Hussein had no control, is the "link" between Iraq and Al-Qaeda. Ansar Al-Islam spokesperson on "Uncovered:The Truth About The War in Iraq" stated on-camera that Saddam Hussein was considered outside of the "Islamic zone" and thus considered the enemy. (Why did I not see that part of the clip on the evening news when the mainstream reported on Ansar Al-Islam?) The neo-cons, of course, relied on the the ignorant public to connect the dots in assuming cooperation between Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden, misleading them into coming to a conclusion that Iraq was somehow involved with 9/11 without having to openly state it.

(B)Iraq was at war for a decade with the same Islamic radicals in Iran that are/were the ideological brothers of Osama Bin Laden. The illogic that I'm going to kill you guys in every way possible for 10 years then become your supplier of atomic weapons is ludicrous.
It speaks volumes of the stupidity of the masses and culpability of the "news" media in informing the public.

1. Who owns the media
GE owns ABC or CBS
GM owns another

These companies make billions on military equipment. Do you really think they want lasting peace and a shrinking military?

2. GE owns NBC
The Nuclear Broadcasting Corperation
CBS is owned by Westinghouse
ABC is (currently) Disney.
So, of the 'big three', two are owned by defense contractors.
