No applauding from the Democratic side of the chamber.
Good. If I saw any of those guys applauding I would probably bang my head on my desk.

The state of union is confident and strong???? HA HA HA!!!!


I am listening to the speech on Malloy's show right now. Anybody else?

3. They DID clap
when he said that "key provisions of the patriot act are due to expire next year". It was great. Some of the Dems had the guts to interrupt him and start clapping. It pissed Jr. off.

Trying to force everyone to their feet by ending a torrent of bullshit spinning with a line no one can disagree with. "The world is safer without Saddam Hussein."

I hope the Dem rebuttal is savage and swift, reminding Americans of the lies, the plunder and corruption that has been the mark of this Maladministration. Ten trillion gone in three years. Millions of jobs gone. Five hundred dead and thousands maimed. No peace in Afghanistan, no democracy in Iraq. America reviled around the world etc....

But it probably will be toadying and obsequious just like last year.
