25. Because...
...Teddy wasn't planning on running for president in 2004, and so did not need to come off as both pro- and anti-war at the same time. :puke:

9. I don't think Jennings is really going after him...
He's keeping questions going, but that's ok. It's a bit disjointed as always because of distant "feeds" and their inherent time delays.

8. He wants the Patriot Act.
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 10:38 PM by aquart
Screw him.

There is NOTHING in that legislation worth keeping. NOTHING.

I am horrified. Horrified.

And the excuse that he was in a crowd of 99 other gutless wonders does NOT cut it with me.

I'm revolted.

14. I don't know enough about the act to have a complete opinion...
But I know the Patriot Act is a HUGE piece of legislation. For example, my dad spoke to a group of bankers about its regulations to prevent banks from dealing with terrorists.

10. He's skating on the Patriot Act
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 10:38 PM by truth2power
Stumbling. Says some of it is good and some bad. That would be enough for me not to vote for him. I'll take Dean.

edit> Yeah, what Aquart said: screw him!

12. He's pointing out...
Edited on Tue Jan-20-04 10:37 PM by Osiris
that Dubya was discriminating against homosexuals...he's defending the Constitution...he's pointing out the lies of the SOTU.

Maybe we're hearing from the next President?

I love what he's saying!

20. But he talks about the Patriot Act etc. being okay
if good and just men are in charge.

That tells me he doesn't get it AT ALL.

The Founding Fathers knew you don't give ANYBODY this kind of power.

Oh, I wanted to like him, he's tall.

But I can't. I can't.

for believing in W.

I’m so glad Peter read that letter, a home run question.

27. He did say that because …

When Kerry realized this was going to be a real interview, he started going on and on while
Peter was trying to interview him.

24. If Kerry gets the nomination, he will

depress the Democratic vote, not energize it.

The questions posed to him tonight on ABC will dog him.

I don't think Iowa will vote for him.

And the three lawn signs that went up on my street today will probably come down in the morning.

dang!
