37. yeah, we are rehashing 18th century history here?
Yeah, there was a freaky fraternity of a bunch of rich powerful Europeans that called themselves the "Illuminati" and were into ancient Egyptian mythology. Weishaupt was the founder.

They were the Skull and Bones of their day - an organization where the rich and powerful got to know each other, network, and do some back-scratching.

Bizarre hazing and bonding rituals don't interest me, but it's good to know with executive is making deals with which politican.

15. I didn't know what the f*** it meant either...
so I looked it up:

Illuminati

\Il*lu`mi*na"ti\, n. pl. Literally, those who are enlightened; -- variously applied as follows:

1. (Eccl.) Persons in the early church who had received baptism; in which ceremony a lighted taper was given them, as a symbol of the spiritual illumination they has received by that sacrament.

2. (Eccl. Hist.) Members of a sect which sprung up in Spain about the year 1575. Their principal doctrine was, that, by means of prayer, they had attained to so perfect a state as to have no need of ordinances, sacraments, good works, etc.; -- called also Alumbrados, Perfectibilists, etc.

3. (Mod. Hist.) Members of certain associations in Modern Europe, who combined to promote social reforms, by which they expected to raise men and society to perfection, esp. of one originated in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, professor of canon law at Ingolstadt, which spread rapidly for a time, but ceased after a few years.

4. Also applied to: (a) An obscure sect of French Familists; (b) The Hesychasts, Mystics, and Quietists; (c) The Rosicrucians.

5. Any persons who profess special spiritual or intellectual enlightenment.

8. Certainly there exist a "loose" group of individuals...
who pretend like they run everything, but they don't actually run everything. While I certainly agree that there is evil in the world, even organized evil, it is the result of evil tendency, not some deep dark enigmatic circle. It is truly ignorance which creates evil. That is the root of evil.

"Bigotry is the disease of ignorance, of morbid minds; enthusiasm of the free and buoyant. Education and free discussion are the antidotes of both." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1816

I guess no, not really. There are oligarchs, plutocrats, the owning class. They're not a monolith, though. There are different and sometimes overlapping interests that 'control' the world.

12. Illuminati, Bones & Kerry

The illuminati is rumored to have connections with the Skull & Bones cult, errr frat, errr secret society.

If there is one reason that we should reject Kerry, It's that he was also a member of Skull & Bones. Kerry was questioned about this on "Meet the Press" and flat out denied to admit anything beyond his membership.

Personally, I think that a president's #1 affiliation should be to the United States of America. Loyalty to Skull & Bones should not supercede this. If Kerry wants to be President, he should fess up 100% about what goes on at Skull & Bones.

No voting for Kerry until he fesses up and breaks his allegiance to Skull & Bones on behalf of a greater allegiance to the United States!!!!!

...while all the other college kids were drinking from their "kegs" and their "bongs", Kerry and HIS frat brothers were bent on world domination- that's pretty ambitious for an 18 year old!

I agree that Kerry should "come clean" about S & B, Area 51, Atlantis and the Shriners

20. Shriners

Shriners do a serious amount of public service. The Bonesman have no equivalent. It seems on the outside to be totally about greed and the accumulation of power.

I'm kinda keen on FreeMasons (Shriners are an advanced order of Free Masonry) because they are a bit iconoclastic and were once persecuted by the church (Knights Templar). Anyone persecuted by the inquisition can't be all that bad ;-)

so he wasn't 18 he was more like 21-22. Second of all the secret society system is not what it was 100 or even 30 years ago. In fact the S&B have been in pretty bad shape for a while now. A few years back the active member decided to allow girls to join and the alumi members all but cut them off.

Kerry has two negatives and one postive as far as I'm concerned - given equal value, that means I'm against Kerry by 2/3rds.

Negatives

Voted for the killing.
Member of Skull & Bones.

Positive

His wife.

That positive counts for something, but not enough as I'm sure I would also like the other wives, therefore I'm 100% against Kerry.

The Skull & Bones is idiotic and infantile, but who knows it may be important - it may be what is causing disasters in our formerly American way of life. Who would know - IT'S SECRET!

27. Oh yes, I definately do.
And I do believe they are running the world, and I do believe that they pose as democrats, republicans, philanthropists, educators, media owners, multinationals, arabs, jews, blacks, white, yellow, red, purple. I believe that there is a plan to institute the new world order. We can see the workings here in the US with the destruction of our constitution and our bill of rights. They stand up in congress and scream and shout for the show and then roll over and vote for the cause they were screaming out against. Some of them are allowed to look good by "voting against" but it really doesn't matter because the bill is gonna pass anyway. How else can you explain what has happened to this country? Is is really the spineless dems? What about black box voting? What about the 9-11 cover-up? When you face the fact that 9-11 was an inside job, then you begin to understand the complicity. What about the recent enhancements of the patriot act hidden inside appropriations bills? What about the sell-off of american to the multinational corportations. What about the cover-ups of the fraud and corruption and the robbery of american pensions, savings. I could go on and on and on and on. Do the math. What the hell is going on here? Someone else have an alternate explanation?

49. Really, nothing funny about it
"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing that every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."- Henry Kissinger in an address to the Bilderberg meeting at Evian, France, May 21, 1992. Transcribed from a tape recording made by one of the Swiss delegates.

50. I have
here's a link to a chart on the Illuminati

I have a hard time believing that the Golden Dawn is part of our present situation. Everything I have read in regards to them and there member books have only encouraged freeing yourself from the "present" paradigm.

I do believe however that it is very likely that ritual magick has been used by people to gain power. The very power that is in force today. Just because a group is associated with the "Illuminati" does not mean that they are part of our present situation. It also does not mean that some part of this "Illuminati" is not part of our present situation. I don't know.. I have read alto of different theories and I
can only look for connection between facts theories coincidences and see what seems to be unfolding. I know there are people who are sure of what is going on.. I am not. I am always willing to listen to some credible theory.
I have read that part of the mason's are fighting to keep us from evolving while others in the mason's are working to evolve us. This could be possible but I don't know. I think a Mason said it. Anyway I find it rather interesting.
