Probably not. America doesn't seem to be comfortable with anything but white christian males.

But don't let that stop you from trying.

2. start out small
get involved on the local level first--I'm sure you know all this

there will be a time when we finally get over our racial and religious biases in this country. we need your generation to get involved now and be ready to take the reigns

3. How about a woman?
When will we have a woman president or an African-American president?

6. Soon maybe
It just depends on individuals.

Bush dumps Cheney, Colin Powell accepts VP nod, and Bush dies, and three years from now there's an A-A President.

Hillary gets chosen VP to General Clark, he dies and three years from now there's a woman President.

It could happen quickly or take another 20 years. I think in the next 4 elections there will be at least one where each party has a woman on the ticket.

For first woman president, or VP, I'd bet on either Hillary or Kay Bailey Hutchisen of Texas.

Bigotry is alive and well in the USA today.

5. Maybe in twenty years.
Right now you have a better chance than an African American, Hispanic or any woman.
