What ever happened to "we know Saddam has wmd?"
ARGHH!!!!!!!!!

"Every day is a new day for the intelligence people," said Rep. Porter Goss, R-Florida. "I would say that we are probably a couple of years away from getting through all the material and talking to all the people we need to talk to about exactly what was going on, not only with the Saddam Hussein regime but with some of the Taliban and some of the things that have been going on in North Korea, Libya, Iran and other places." >

2. It was a lie
and now even the most Fox "News" addled right wing moran knows it (even if they won't admit it), so even Rove isn't so cynical as to keep on flogging that particular dead horse. However, this Administration is still (still!) trying to project an aura of infallibility so they couldn't leave the subject completely alone so we got this gem: "...dozens of weapons of mass destruction program related activities". An example of such is a crude drawing of a missile in a note book.

3. You know what I miss
Is all the Conservatives saying "Hey, look, we wouldn't be doing this if we didn't know for sure. I mean the evidence looks sketchy, but that's because they can't tell us everything."

Of course for some, this now translates into "Hey, look, we wouldn't have done this if we didn't know for sure. They just don't want to tip evildoers off to the fact of how smart we are."

5. You are mistaken. There never were any WMDs. That's not what they said
WMDs was sloppy journalism.

What bush, cheney, perle, wolfowitz have been saying all along is weapons of mass destruction-related program activities .

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/01/20040120-7.html

WMDs is a damn lie started by those fringe Leftists. The term has always been b]weapons of mass destruction-related program activities .

War is peace.

Welcome to the New World.

9. Rewriting history -- in this case, the history of ...
what Dubya said. He claimed that Saddam's weapons were plentiful and an immediate threat. It didn't take long into the US invasion to prove that was wrong -- a lie, in fact. Personally, I thought it a lie along that Saddam was a clear and present danger; but I was surprised that at least some WMDs weren't found. That means that Saddam's government really did destroy all of those WMDs that US companies had supplied with the connivance of Rummy and others back in the Reagan administration.

11. when that Bald guy from the deck of cards was captured
his science minister or something (i'll research his name) he smiled to the press and said - this whole thing is based on lies. There are no weapons. That's when I knew. That guy disappeared from his wife in Germany (enemy combatant, you know) when his wife went to the UN headquarters in Baghdad to find him she was blown up in the bombing.
