Democrats are trying to save overtime for 8 million employees...
Let's hope they appreciate it. No doubt, their overtime is worth much more than Bush's taxcut. That's a lot of votes...I cannot understand why the WH would gamble with alienating such a large number of voters? Perhaps Democrats should remind them about who is trying to screw them out of their overtime pay? Seems like it would be a good group to recruit as new Democrats?

All about the nullification of Congress' rejection of the labor bill, except for the part upping the minimum to 22,000/yr.

He's emphasizing the Labor Dept's "tips" to employers on how to get around that last bit. (See http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0106-03.htm)
