DU'ers fall for media whore/GOP rhetoric on Dean
Dean is the only democrat with a snowballs chance in hell. We all know what the soft spoken Milqtoast democrats did for us in the midterms. You think Kerry will excite the base as Dean has? No, he wont. Get real, Kerry voted with Bush on Iraq and doesnt have the cahones to say it was wrong....even after all that has come to light on the issue. He would look like a fool taking Bush on the Iraq/War issue........thats why the GOP want him and not Dean. All the right wing loonies in my chatroom are rooting for Kerry (Milqtoast). They know Dean will hold them responsible for all we've been subjected to in the last few years. The Media whores have overblown a Dean pep rally for his supporters. I refuse to dance with the talking head frenzy and play into Roves hands, anyone care to join me?

and I still think most of the current group can win(except JL)(but please ignore that). Dean's Monday gig freaked a lot of people, myself included, but it's so small comapared to what's important. Hmm, one scream, or 500 lives. You decide.

2. I agree with you and he's still the front runner because
he's the one being picked on.

This will be locked soon because it's in the wrong forum but thanks for posting.

3. Base will vote for anybody but bush
Kerry doesn't need the far left- they will never vote for bush. We need a candidate that can bring in outsiders/center/anybody. I haven't decided on anyone and probably won't get the chance to cast a vote that counts in the primary- but I will support whoever gets the nomination.

5. I agree the mediawhores are managing our impression of Dean
but I disagree that Dean is the only Dem who can beat Bush. I think Dean, Kerry, Clark, and perhaps Edwards can beat Bush.

6. He's too thinned skinned
Dean is a great guy but he has no poker face, every barb hits home with him, he reacts defensively to almost every attack....I will vote for him if Kerry doesnt make the nom

7. The loonies in your chatroom can say what they want
The RW was rooting for Dean until recently. They all think Bush will win a landslide, and they're in for a rude awakening. I personally think we need someone who's strong on security because it's no secret that's what Bush is going to try to make the election about.
