What really needs to be asked (and answered by the questioner) is something like --

Yesterday, it was reported that more than 500 US men and women have been killed in Iraq as of today, with thousand more wounded, and disabled for life. The bodies and the wounded arrive back on US soil at Dover Air Force base, a short helicopter ride from the White House. How can you not attend any of those ceremonies at Dover? Isn't it disrespectful to these men and women that you cannot interrupt a campaign fundraiser long enough to go to Dover and honor their memory?

Know that you know about these deaths, do you still feel comfortable with the fact that you went to war in Iraq based on lies? Do you not lie awake at night wondering if you will go to hell one day because you lied to the American people and sent 500 of them to their death?

11. Why nothing about his "service" in the reserves?

Why is bush not being hammered on his cutting out on his reserve duty for a year and a half?? And why wasn't that one of the questions?

For the life of me, I cannot understand why somebody, ANYBODY, hasn't tried to pin him down to answer the question, "where was he that year and a half when he was supposed to be in the Alabama Guard??"

Clinton got knocked around for avoiding service in Vietnam by going to school for a long time. bush skips out on a year and a half of service in the reserves (in a VERY cushy unit, I might add) and can't even stick it out for the duration? I mention this to some of the protestant elite psudo-con's at work & get nothing but blank stares & sneers - I could send them a link to the original Boston Globe story, but they've got an amazing ability to discount the written word.

If someone could only manage to ask him how he feels about reservists coming home in body bags while he completely ignored his commitments to his country during the Vietnam war, well...that would be something special indeed.
