Overheard dinner conversation (of Clark interest)...
My wife and I were at a fairly high end restaurant last night. She has a Clark pin attached to her purse. Someone at a nearby table of six noticed it. They thought that we couldn't hear them, but we could. These Republicans were discussing whether they could vote in the Democratic primary against Clark. If you remember, there was a Big crossover vote in the Democratic primary in my district to derail Cynthia McKinney.

Make your own conclusions.

6. Absolutely.
There were large mirrored walls besides us that amplified and clarified the sound. They did not know of the effect. Also, I have pretty damn good pinpoint hearing.

2. I think the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primaries
are really important, but it's not over until the South speaks up. It will be very interesting how things go there.

I think the fact that we Dems have so many good candidates is the worst thing that could have happened to the Republicans. The news cannot ignore the primaries and that is good for us. If the Dems had already settled on a candidate the only news we would see on TV would be about the candidate's bad hair or sweater or whatever.

8. Preventing this ..

What prevents this is they can't vote for local primary candidates.
