6. Here's Somebody NOT S&B
Somehow, despite her breaking the S&B family tradition, Little-Babs will still benefit from the bigger tradition in the BUSH family of living off connections.

MAKE NO BONES

YALIE Barbara Bush has broken a family tradition. Barbara, 22 and a senior, has not been "tapped" to join the exclusive and secret Skull & Bones society. "It's particularly galling for Barbara, because both her father and grandfather were members of the Skull & Bones, as was her great-grandfather, Prescott," reports the London Telegraph. "Sadly, her contribution to campus life has been lacking." As an alternative, she'll join the Yale Potato Sack Relay Team, but the Telegraph said, "it's almost considered better not to get 'tapped' for anywhere at all."

10. no offence but ...
... I do not think S&B "taps" females ... they probably go under some other society.
Keep in mind this is a very, very, very old boyz club .... making millions in shipping Heroin from China (Afghanistan - hint hint) through Europe and then to Americas.

11. They do tap females since 1991 -- despite William Buckley's court order
Edited on Sat Jan-24-04 12:36 AM by lostnfound
Heard all about it on a Democracy Now interview this week.

Seniors wanted to tap females; alums protested; Buckley got a court order to prevent the undergrads from entering "the Tomb"; alums finally voted narrowly to let women in.

I suspect there hasn't been many. And it seems physically impossible for women to actually complete the (utterly perverse) initiation rite.

8. As many times as it takes!!!!!

We will keep bringing it up until:

1) Kerry renounces Skull & Bones and annuls his oath. Fesses up.
2) Kerry is eliminated from the Democratic race.

The fact that Kerry won't even talk about it presumes some level of guilt. Kerry doesn't run around saying:

"Vote for me John Kerry. I'm a member of the most elite east coast society EVER conceived. I died to YOU BARBARIANS. Now I'm a higher form of life. We can break laws without being punished.

So please vote for me, John Kerry because I'm obviously BETTER than you are!!!!!!"

12. Locking
Rules to start discussion threads in the General Discussion forum.

1. If you start a thread in the General Discussion forum, you must present your opinion in a manner that is not inflammatory, which respects differences in opinion, and which is likely to lead to respectful discussion rather than flaming. Some examples of things which should generally be avoided are: unnecessarily hot rhetoric, nicknames for prominent Democrats or their supporters, broad-brush statements about groups of people, single-sentence "drive-by" thread topics, etc.

2. The subject line of a discussion thread must accurately reflect the actual content of the message.

3. The subject line of a discussion thread may not include profanity or swear words, even if words or letters are replaced by asterisks, dashes, or abbreviations.

4. The subject line and the entire text of the message which starts the thread may not include excessive capitalization, or excessive punctuation.

5. If you post an article or other published content which is from a conservative source or which expresses a traditionally conservative viewpoint, you must state your opinion about the piece and/or the issues it raises.

6. You may not start a new discussion thread in order to continue a current or recent flame war from another thread. The moderators have the authority to lock threads in order to contain flaming on a particular topic to only one thread at a time.

7. Discussion topics that mention any or all of the Democratic presidential primary candidates are not permitted in the General Discussion forum, and instead must be posted in the General Discussion: 2004 Primary forum.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,
DU moderator
