Emerging Democratic Majority.
According to emergingdemocraticmajority.com, Bush's approval rating is down to 45%. Do you people think that this is true?

1. Yes
I've talked on the threads before about a new political group in my county, made up of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. And except for the peace marcher contingent (all 4 of us), none of these folks would be seen near a picket line-before now. Even the Republicans are saying Bush has gone too far, he must be stopped, and they are willing not only to vote for the Democratic candidate but to work hard to assure he wins.

2. We failed to sell our Treasury bonds today, AGAIN.
Anyone who respects money is right to be scared to death of this idiot and his thieving friends.

The approval rating isn't going to translate to a Democratic win unless Democrats start acting like an opposition party. And with the way the recent overtime takeaway bill went, it's too late.

With the many times that the Democratic Party has been in power and still hasn't repealed the Taft-Hartley Act and hasn't changed the FLSA to be more worker-friendly???

If a person dangles a carrot too many times without ever giving it up then others will get wise to it. The American Dream is nothing but an empty promise and that's been known for the last thirty years.

4. I can only hope it's true.
And hope also that the Dem candidate will have a higher expectation rating.
