Progressive radio = Central Air (w Al Franken et al) in circa March (?)
Ok, I've been snooping.
Looks like they'll be called "Central Air."
Might just be a working name, but they have a website:

http://www.centralairmedia.com/

It's only partly developed. Lots of TBDs.
Some of the skimpy info available:

-They're talking about March. They're shooting for the election
season (feel better SoCalDem?).
-They hired the co-creator of the Daily Show!!!
-New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago
and Boston so far.
-On air talent so far: Al Franken/weekdays, RFK Jr, Michael Moore (?, according to Gore Vidal), Gore Vidal (according to GV :)).

"New York, December 1st, 2003 – Taking another step toward redefining the landscape of American talk radio, program production and syndication company Progress Media Inc. today announced its Central Air radio network will hit airwaves in the first quarter of 2004, in time for the election season.
...
The company also announced the hiring of Lizz Winstead, creator of the “Daily Show,” to oversee entertainment programming..."

3. If they've actually signed Garofalo that'd be great.
Hope they add it to the news section of their website.

And I hope they get on the air fast and don't keep delaying.
And I hope they air in Seattle...
