Anyone else see Al Franken on Letterman last night?
Al is bold and had it up to his chin with this cabal. He makes no bones about his feelings but I'm not sure if he can maintain a level of entertainment to keep an audience. I find him funny and a quick wit and hope he does well. I guess it depends on who he gets as his guests. Anyway back to Letterman, Al said he wanted to call his radio show the O'Franken Factor so maybe a "Right-wing" News Organization would sue him and give him tons of free publicity. Jab at Fox and at O'Reilly in the same breath. Well we have to start somewhere and most Liberals are scared of their shadows so let's hope Franken sets a good tone and more are eager to follow. The show will start in March he said.:-) Franken also made the comment that Bush* lied and Soldiers are dying and he did it in a context that would not turn people off. I say  to Al Franken

5. Nice sound bite but.....
Do you really believe Franken to be "Drug Free"? Maybe he has changed. We all grow and change things we do but there was a day when I don't think Franken could have made that statement.

6. Will Franken's show be on in Los Angeles?
I'm dying to hear a liberal voice on the radio again.

7. I loved how he said he was praying for Rush
even though Rush called Al's friend Jerry Garcia "another dead doper" and a "dirtbag." Al says things in such a matter-of-fact way that exposes their hypocrisy, yet still doesn't come off as being angry or bitter. He had the audience in stitches!

8. "exposes" but not "angry and bitter" ---------Agree!
There's a thread floating around claiming that Al is "boring" and has "an extremely annoying voice" and appeals only to "hardcore Dems", to which I posted: I have sat through a couple of 45 minute FRANKEN presentations on C-SPAN and have not found it "boring" or his voice "extremely annoying". As for "all the talented liberals out there", he has been in the small group at the top of being out there for us AS one of us----why NOT him. As for getting OTHER than hardcore Dems, he has a pleasantness and geniality that is appealing to people in general, people who might be toward the----GASP-------Center, and perhaps even beyond. There was around of these same allegations against FRANKEN a month or two ago, and I don't understand why.
