Twenty eight dead American soldiers this month-confirmed
Including the five today.
What a shame.
Fighting a war to find nonexistent weapons.
Or should I say fighting a war to install a pro-American government on top of the world's second largest oil reserves, like Bush should have said all along?

1. 1000 kia is going to come much faster
than the 512 now. I said this on another thread, but we're taking the A team out now and replacing them with the B team. When we run through them and have to draft, then we'll be using the C, D, and even E teams.
For what? so the chimp can say he's got a bigger one than poppy? So chaindrive and haliburton can steal trillions?

5. So...we're definitely getting to the "one a day"....
:eyes:
Oh man...that means we can expect about 365 dead this year alone...
most likely closer to 400. Poor families....

6. Want to stop this madness?
Do not support the troops.

Each one is capable of independant thought. Each US soldier is capable
of refusing to fight an illegal/imoral/undeclared war. Each soldier
has agreed to the legitamacy of the chickenhawks agenda. If every US
soldier refused to participate, this war would have been avoided.
"Following orders" was not a valid excuse at Nuremburg- Doesn't
hold water, now. Individual responsibility is needed, to stop the
current regime's madness. Each willing participant is responsible
for the dead and maimed human beings, which continue to pile up daily.
Democracy is not for the intellectually lazy-

I know, it's much easier, to sit on your couch & let the corporate/
government propaganda machine think for you.

8. I disagree
you cannot expect soldiers to desert in dissent. We the people, the civilians, are the ones that need to dissent and the American people are simply NOT doing it in a way that makes a difference yet.

9. You may disagree, however-
Does the term "Consciensous objector" ring a bell? Most are in
the RA- Just for the PROSPECT of killing. The NG & ER troops just
wanted extra $$$ for college. They should have en masse refused
to ship out. Mutiny? Not if an undemocratically selected government
is sending them off on a unjustifiable killing spree. The chimp
should be arrested & tried for war crimes. He should be locked in
a cell, with SH & Milosovic.
