Do you think George Soros & Ted Turner could get together
and recreate a REAL news outlet, like CNN used to be. I am so sick of sound bite news, the Golden Globe coverage, Michael Jackson, et al, that I could just scream. Maybe a CSpan 4 or something.

We also need to start an email campaign asking all these CNN, MSNBC, Fox people actually think they are journalists. They are TV personalities reading a teleprompter. I guess they figure what's good enough for the WH is good enough for news, BUT REALLY!!

2. CSpan news is only 3 hours a day
The rest of the time it is the House and Senate.

3. But you missing the point. The news happens in the house and senate...
If you can't watch that then, I guess sound bytes are for you.

4. Are Jennings, rather, brokaw reporters?
They all do what you say. I was listening I think to cnn this morning and a reporter was reporting and it was news. He told how he was at the Clark rally and he was surprised that everyone he interviewed was from out of state. He could not find NH people. With Clark falling so fast in NH, this is news and good reporting. He also told how Clark had to have his wife help him cook pancakes. These people forget that doing things you do not know how to do can hurt you with voters.

They all need to go back to Journ. 101.
