An open letter to disruptors.

I've been a member of DU since January 2001. In that time I've seen it grow from a couple of dozen members to it's now huge, and very influencial size.

Also in that time I've seen the far right, ideological, and immoral minions of the republican neocons infiltrate our boards. They are rather easy to spot and in the past were handled with a swift click of the moderator's mouse, consigning them to the great abyss.

Today it seems that with such a large number of posters some sneak thru unnoticed. For those that do I promise this: If I see you here I will not let it slide. Not only will I answer you with facts to refute your lies, I will use the 'alert' button without fail. And I encourage others to do the same.

But all that is only prelude to what really matters. And that is that IT'S TOO LATE FOR YOU.

The people are starting to notice. NY Times bestseller list today shows four of the top five books are ANTI-BUSH.

Drudge report has headlines showing that bush was awol from TANG.

The comptroller general says that bush's deficits are killing the country.

The people are waking up. So the best thing for you payed disruptors to do is to put down the mantle of the neocons and come back and rejoin the human race.

Working together we can make this a country that can hold it's head up as the best that humanity has to offer. It's time to stop holding humanity back and join in to help.

Let's not get into an arguement over just who hates the war more. I probably have more against the bush war than most because I served at one time long ago and can feel what out troops are going thru now.

But that's not the reason for my post. It was designed to discourage the use of disruptors here and also to invite those raygun dems back into the democratic party. The more united the country the more we can get done to make it a decent place to live once more.

Let's not fight among ourselves. That's been a dem problem for far too long.
