I nearly got thrown out of traffic school today! |
|
I argued with the teacher (a former cop) about the police & seat belt laws.
I told I thought seat belt laws were wrong cause I got a ticket & even had mine on and that the cop called me a liar when I objected. He said it was the cop's right & I said that it was wrong & could lead to corruption, that is when he flew off the handle!
He told me to look up corruption in the dictionary & maybe then I'd know what it meant, so I told him I didn't have to...I just had to watch TV and see the local cop traded sex with a woman to let her go free or the local station that is ready to overthrow the chief.
He told me to get a plane & fly to another country, then I might know how good I have it here.
I also brought up how I didn't think it was right for the cops to sit at Walmart all night with the cars running, which our tax dollars pay for. Not to mention that we also have a Chaplain police car and I said that I didn't want my tax dollars going to religion...something I do not believe in (Notice I said religion, not God). This woman pipes up that I must love Hitler since I do not believe in God. It was very off & I felt really on edge the last 2 hours or so.
Near the end he showed us his posterboard that he collects clippings of dead people killed by drunk drivers. He read us a few articles...one about this guy who drank and then killed a grandmother, daughter & grandson. Three generations wiped out by one drunk, as he called it. The guy got 16 yrs and the teach said he hoped he got a big, lonely cellmate to rape him everyday, "when he leaves prison he'd no longer feel like...person...you can see I don't want to call him a man."
Then as we were leaving he just keot saying over & over, "we need more laws...more laws. More....laws."
It was like being trapped in a David Lynch movie for 8 hours!!!

1. I had to go to traffic school some years ago... |
|
and the "teacher" was none other than my high school driver's ed teacher! What a trip. And then there was this movie that was so cheesy (kinda reminded me of "Reefer Madness") everyone was laughing. Bottom line, it's just a big money-maker

5. Hitler was a Christian! |
|
"Gott mit uns" was the motto of the SS!
My father was ranting about the Muslims and asked me about what Christian ever committed genocide. "Hitler," I replied. That shut him up (especially since he fought the Nazis at the Battle of the Bulge.)

7. It's more than that -- it's an industry. |
|
These bastards aren't content with merely justifying there existence, they want to turn a profit while doing it.

they have five DWIs and you were just practicing for becoming president. I guess if our leaders don't respect the law why should we?

8. Why did you have to go to court? |
|
I caused a wreck when I slid on a rain-slick highway and rammed into a 1969 Mercury, which saved my life (otherwise I would have gone down the side of a mountain). The real problem was the road was built improperly-curved banked wrong-and the cops even agreed with me. Hey, I was going a speedy 25 mph when it happened! Anyway, I was ticketed, but it was taken off my record after I went to traffic school.
I drove the teacher nuts. I sat in the front row, and eagerly watched every video and took copious notes. I waved my hand to answer every question, like an eager beaver. What could the cop do? I was trying to be helpful, and I was the only one in the room actually listening (even though it was all about drinking and driving, which had nothing to do with me, as I don't use alcohol). I sort of watched him sigh and avoid my eye. His face got red when he'd ask a question and I would be the only one to answer.
It was a lot of fun. The others were amused by my antics, and the cops couldn't do a thing. I mean, what could he say? "Shut up and don't pay attention like everyone else"?

10. There is a turn on my road like that |
|
steep and banked the wrong way, lucky for me it just goes into the woods and not off a cliff or I would be long dead. Five times now with 4 differnt drivers (me once)O have been in the car when it has slid right off the road, and it always hits the same tree.

9. Well, at least you weren't sent to the Drive By Driving School |

I actually saw that painted on a car a few weeks ago. I had no idea that instruction was required to be a drive-by shooter, but it does make sense. You're not supposed to operate a car OR a firearm until you've earned a license, so it follows that you should need one in order to do both. However, I do NOT want to think about what the road test is like...
