7. Aren't the French trying to prosecute Cheney?
For securities fraud in France?

4. A little arm twisting maybe??
I don't know, but "something is rotten in the state of Denmark." I can't imagine that anything positive can possibly come out of this visit.

When they put Cheney on duty, something fishy is usally going on.

5. Well, he's being investigated in France.
Edited on Sat Jan-24-04 10:39 PM by Cat Atomic
And I believe they were threatening a subpoena. Maybe he's over there greasing some palms? Or maybe he wanted to see the Eiffel Tower one last time before he's offically a criminal in France.

12. Nobody knows in Germany: news blackout?
Didn't find it mentioned in any newspaper or in any TV-News here in Germany? Hard to believe, 'cause usually it would have been reported.

18. That's nothing...
Scalia was lecturing Taiwanese judges on judicial ethics or something. If you want Taiwan to turn into a fascist Hellhole like the mainland, sending Scalia there is a step in the right direction.

14. Davos is outside the EU
They are in Switzerland... a country geographically in europe, but politically outside it.

This is that overblown bunch of hacks those 2000 business leaders who genuinely believe they have the divine right of kings to make the world better in their eyes without the rest of us... of course they're lecturing on governmet corruption... all these fools want to do the same thing and pretend to be immaculate whilst running the most devious hateful ugly governance regimes they can design.... davos is a sham... appointocracy, plutocracy and timocracy at work in a nation state that can't see it fit to support european political cooperation on opposing injustice.

Its a non-event. Don't presume that those 2000 business leaders have any power that you and i don't have right now... its a sham... thats why cheney and asscrack are there.

Stealthy mole probably has his own tunnel that goes directly to his Swiss bank vault.
