or been completely emasculated by Mary Maitlin. How can he stand the sound of that whining voice? And Begala has become full of himself, and yet they are our only representatives on television.

Been very disappointed in the Carville/Begala derision of Howard Dean. Makes me think it is the same good old boys picking our candidates. Howard Dean's candidacy is the perfect example of democracy in action, and the media and the Democratic establishment of which these two are members are stomping all over it.

He sleeps with and is married to perhaps one of the most evil women on the face of the planet. Cheneys Oracle Hag. This tells me he is a whore....no matter how much I like what he says most of the time...I cannot trust him.

In fact I would be seriously suspicious of anyone he endorsed.

He will do no more "domestic" campaigns because it wouldn't be fair to a candidate to have Carville's high profile possibly cause a distraction when the total emphasis should be on the candidate himself or herself. He will only do campaigns outside of our borders from now on. That is his statement...lets see if he can stick with it.

It sounds like that's a good move for Carville. From other posts, he's working against Bush and that's the main thing.

11. Well, he is sending out fund raising letters under DNC letterhead

if that tells you anything.

I have received maybe 4 since spring of last year.
It is always an ABB pitch/appeal for funds to support the eventual nominee.

I think it is worthwhile to donate a little $$ to the DNC for any DUer, you ought to do it if you call yourself a democrat.

Most of the appeals I have received from the DNC in the past year are generally written by Kennedy, McAuliffe, or Carville.

Hope this helps you see what Carville is doing.
Maybe you can help too.

Sometimes I think we spend WAY to much time on DU and not looking for volunteer opportunities, or donations opportunities for the Democratic Party.

THAT is one real way to DO something about getting Bush OUT.

14. Independents do not automatically contribute to the Democratic Party.

And listening to the droning voice of John Kerry, and he is such a good man but boring, they probably will not give up much. My feeling is anybody but Bush this year, but Democrats have disappointed me once too often for the future.

16. He was here in Atlanta yesterday.

The Dem Party is sponsoring a grassroots training session this weekend (I'm skipping today's sessions), and Carville was the featured speaker yesterday.

Although the comments were entertaining and motivating, they were seriously undemined by his comments in support of Kerry.

This was a training session for ALL Democrats. Carville treated it like a campaign rally for Kerry. I was disappoined.

In any event, I got quoted by an AP reporter during a smoke break (not the most eloquent quote, but I grew up in Philadelphia!):

"We have a good excuse to get people out this time," said Jerry Tyler, 46, of Atlanta. "Democrats are pretty frigging upset."

17. Black Box Voting in Georgia is one of the WORST

The Sec. of State's office is totally complicit in working with the corporate vote thieves. She needs to be hounded until she wants to leave the office of Sec. of State.

If we can't get an honest tally of the votes, we have no Democracy! Georgia's last election (2002) stunk worse than a dead skunk two days on the hot Georgia asphalt.
