At addictedtowar.com, look up the 'What I Learned About U.S. Foreign Policy' DVD and order it. Very eye-opening. Also has nice expose about the SOA...

2. I believe the CIA has a dark side and a light side
We DO need intelligence and our nation DOES have interests. Not everything they do is of questionable morals or values.

5. Intelligence gathering and analysis is one thing, but
it's a small part of the picture.

The CIA's hands are bloodied by assassinations both foreign and domestic, the destabilization and overthrow of democratic governments, false-flag terrorism, abusive medical research, the protected drug trade....

JFK was right. It ought to have been shattered into a thousand pieces and scattered to the wind 40 years ago.

9. Peppered with good and bad
just like every other entity comprised of people. Some are there for their own purpose and some truly desire to serve the good of the greater community.

And capitalism will fall of the same illness that brought down the communists: human nature.

10. designed to protect capitalists by any means....
although socialism will always be the savior of capitalism because whenever capitalism fails it's the people's money that bails the capitalist out.

11. Capital
The CIA is designed to protect Capitalists of the USA. It is 100% obvious that the US Govt. now and in the past is not interested in Democracy. That concept is merely an ideal to dupe the American people in order to gain their support of Imperialsim.

12. ...How a Friend Described It"
He personally never worried about the CIA EVER being effective because it is made up of three distinct factions that continually cannibalize each others success...

Bureaucrats, Criminals and Ideologues - they have similar interests, but are divergent on end-results when it comes to 'what to do with intelligence the Company has gathered?'
