Thank you Orrin Hatch
Yes I meant to type that. I just got done watching the interview with Edward Kennedy on Late Edition. Kennedy looks marvelous. Healthy and hale. So what does Orrin Hatch have to do with this? Evidently he had a sort of intervention for Kennedy just after William Smith was charged with rape. He bluntly told Kennedy his drinking would kill him. Kennedy cleaned up his act. Orrin Hatch may be a lowsy Senator but he is a good friend.

8. I just got through listening to "America United."
Had no idea Orrin was such a renaissance man. I guess if this senator thing doesn't work out, he can always fall back on his other career. Maybe he could get Lee Greenwood to buy a couple of his songs.:puke:

3. He did look better than he has for a long time.
I just caught the last part of the interview. I loved his reply about not jumping up to every applause line that relies on the failed Iraqi fiasco. When Wolfie asked him about the camera shots of him during the SOTU speach he made the point that he respects the Presidencey which to my mind implies that he does not respect the current holder of the office. To which I say "Right on, Ted!".

4. I remember a few years back on some show like Inside Edition or
something like that they had to roll Teddy on and off a boat--he was a whale--it was pretty scary.

5. I'm still miffed with him backing Arnie just because
Maria Shriver is his niece.

6. I'm not sure if he backed him in the end..
and you may be correct that he did,but I heard Kennedy interviewed a few weeks before the recall and he said then that he supported Davis.Did he change his mind later?

7. I don't think Kennedy endorse Arnold...
her parents (and siblings?) were there celebrating...Kennedy wasn't...and we would have heard something before this if he had.

He spoke out for Davis the way I remember it.
