Dad, What's Politics?
so this little boy comes to his dad and asks, "Dad, what's politics?"

his dad says, "well, think of it this way... I'm the breadwinner, so we'll call me capitalism. Your mom pays the bills and runs the household, so we'll call her government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny does the menial labor around the house, so we'll call her the working class. Your brother is just a baby, so we'll call him the future. Think about that for a while and see what you come up with."

so the boy goes to bed thinking about what his dad said. Later that night, he's awakened by the sound of his brother crying. He checks on his brother, and sure enough he's got a dirty diaper.

So he peeks in his parents bedroom and finds his mother sound asleep, and he's unable to wake her up, so he goes to the nanny's room and the door is locked. He peeks thru the keyhole and sees his dad having sex with her.

He realizes he's not getting anywhere, so he goes back to bed.

the next morning he tells his dad, "I think I've got politics figured out. Capitalism is screwing the working class, government is asleep, the people are being ignored, and the future is in deep doo-doo!"
