The set-up reminds me of Lord of the Rings... |

where the Repubs are these dark forces and even though the odds don't look good to overthrow this very powerful group, what happened was with the right timing and coalitions, they fell hard. I sure hope Tolkien's basic belief and hope comes to pass in November.

Sauron is the proto-fascist movement (thought powerless but gathering strength). Saruman, the fool who thinks he can use the dark lord's power but ends up serving him, is the corporate elite. Just my $0.02
