When Bush loses the election, what will he do with the rest of his life?
Since he has only run one term, would he run again later? Could he run for Gov. of Texas again? I just wondered.

Yeah, right, that'll happen.

He will cash in on oil deals in the middle east and find ways to promote regional conflicts that will generate great ROI on his military hardware investments via Carlisle Group, along with Poppy.

no one even his own family. His daddy is old and crotchety and his mom is wrinkled, bent, dried out ans getting more ugly by the day as she struggles to get out of her bed every morning

--not submitting though--that would be an admission that this family cohorts with the "lower, cheaper, classes" and so she is wanting to be portrayed as graceful into old age, wrinkled and dry as she may be, but insisting upon perpetrating the lies her son was taught to do with conviction as if it were the truth!! It ain't working, this image of the matriarch ., Or even this image of the patriarch!

None of that is defendable anymore since the little boy Dauphine lied so much that no one, actually , can tell the lie from the truth.

And he, George Bush, does not care. Neither do the rest of them out thee on the Walker estate in Kennebunkport.

They are all just
"summer folk" who arrive there for a couple of weeks to fish in the Atlantic for the big blue--make a photo op for all to see in their cigarette boat, and then --- what?

Bushes are liars. There is nothing about any of them that is honorable, outstanding or diplomatic. They are, indeed , the BFEE.

brave, tough, warrior president. The facts will show otherwise and I do hope there are some intellictuals out there who will point out how very stupid this "worst president" was. May he never become a legend other than that despicable legend that he is.

I do hope and place my faith in these intellectuals to have been keeping track of all of this in order that our children may know that George Bush, the most stupid, the most evil , the unelected bully who forced his presidency on the American people without their consent, is a dumassed idiot who could not and cannot put togetether a coherent sentence. May our children know that bragging about a failed college education is not an admirable achievement and may they also know that the practice of "pre-emptive attack on anyone that an idiot deems is the proper target is NOT the way tpo achieve peace and harmony in the entire population of human beings that happen to lie on this planet. May our children understand that a bully is NOT a leader and only pretends to be a leader because of his doubts about himself.

All he, the priviledged, asshole, coward college
"gentleman's C average" ever wanted was to pay back those corporations who financially supported his coup.

He NEEDED to coup and gyp the American people out of their votes, in order to pay back to those corporate donations! And when he did--why that meant that he was indeed, a LEADER--!! And born again Christian besides!! Halleluyah

May we never ever see another Bush in any office in the entire "USA for a thousand years to come, The entire family is corrupt, evil and a blight upon humanity.

--may we never ever see any one of them again in any office.

May the entire Bush family just fade away on their estates and become the epitome of ignorant bastards who wanted to bilk the American government, and may they lose their fortunes in short order.

May they and their weak and equally dumbassed, dullard progeny who also think they are entitled, have to, one day, actually work for a living and work and worry, to have to support their family. May the entire Bush family disappear into ignomy that they indeed, do deserve.

The Bush family needs to slink away in dishonor never to approach the American political scene again.

Their record is abominable and a disgrace May they all, who survive after this, hide their heads in shame for the arrogant attitude they all seem to carry==and that is one that is that they are in some way privileged from birth--indeed, BY birth..

No more Bushes in our government. No more of the ignorant and less than intellectually endowed, Bushes in our government. No more failures and no more wannabees who are interested only in their own fortunes. No more --Tell your kids.

45. Well, he won't be a party leader
because he is a dumb ass.

He will be revered by the ultra right neo-cons, but the traditional conservatives will gradually distance themselves from him and mount an effort to regain control of the Republican Party.

Bush will slink off into obscurity surfacing now and again during a celebrity/politician golf game or to stump for a state representative or something like that.

He will rarely travel abroad because he will be in constant danger, and he will eventually be a butt of jokes.

The history books will not shine a nice light on him. Unlike Reagan, he won't be strongly defended by the right wing. The ultra right will take offense at negative characterizations of Mr. Bush, but the mainstream GOP will nervously laugh and not defend the ex-president.

The term Bushed will be employed as a synonym for "fucked up" as in, "Tom sure Bushed that job!"

When he dies of old age, his funeral will be attended by the US president of the time, but news reports will all be prefaced with "President during the ill fated Iraq war...."

He is a sad, pathetic man, and if there is justice in the world, he will rot away in his own guilt and pettiness.

Those of us here on DU will be in our nursing homes one day recounting the turn of the century to our grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will tell of how we were on the front lines - the 10 percenters! We screamed at the top of our lungs that the United States was in danger of turning into a fascist state, and the electorate finally listened. Our great grandchildren will go to school and say, "My great grandfather was one of the few people who was against Bush in the 2000s!" The other kids will be impressed.

We will all die in the comfort of the knowledge that we fought the good fight, withstood ridicule from our neighbors and coworkers, shouted from the rooftops that Bush was dangerous, and were finally vindicated in the 2004 election.

Then before we pass away, we will recount our efforts in the 2028 election where the Republican Party was running on a platform that highlighted strip mining Mars and militarizing the Uranus Zone in an effort to bring back our place as superpower of the Solar System. It took the Democrats bringing President Hillary Clinton out of retirement to rally the troops and....

Oh, damn! I'm going off again into one of my mental farqs!

Sorry.

52. This is the really interesting thing about Republicans and Democrats
Ford is just out of the picture.

Carter is still very much active and involved in US politics and especially foreign policy.

Reagan... well, Reagan doesn't even know he was president.

GHW Bush just dropped out of politics, it seemed, but I now realize he was planning the takeover that they staged in 2000. The only reason Bush is still involved in politics, however, is because he can use his connections to make himself even more wealthy.

Clinton got to the scene of the 9/11 attacks sooner than Bush. He is still speaking and involved in the Democratic party, and still has interest and involvement in foreign affairs.

GW Bush is a drunken moron who doesn't have the intelligence or interest to be president, so he will ride this out until he is voted out, is run out by the citizens of the country, or is taken away in handcuffs. Then, he will retire to his private life, and probably disappear from the public scene as he slips into a perpetual drunken stupor. He will re-emerge in ten or fifteen years as Rethugs start yet another agressive move to name everything after a crappy president to make his image seem better than the man himself.

74. The sad news is...Hes set for life..
No matter if he wins or not Bush, Cheany and anyone else who was on the Bush gravy train will be very well off..This whole thing was a scam on america. The way the news gives him a free pass, the blood that has been spiiled for his oil buddys, the rich and thier tax cuts. All one big Scam that makes any other robbery look like peanuts..
One day i dream that the american people will wake up..

75. My guess
He'll join Habitat for Humanity and spend several hours each day building homes for the poor in the sweltering heat and humidity of central Africa alongside Jimmy Carter. Then Bush will sell his ranch in Crawford to a charity for the symbolic price of $1, move to a small apartment, and spend the rest of his days apologizing for the mistakes he made during his so-called presidency. When he dies (of a heart attack at the ripe old age of 98 while feeding children in an Austin homeless shelter), he'll leave his estate to Planned Parenthood, the Texas Democratic Party, and the descendants of Al Gore.

But seriously, I'm sure he'll go back to being a drunk after losing. And I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to pull a Grover Cleveland in 2008. Who the heck knows?
