1. I like and admire her
but to be perfectly honest, on some level I would be relieved if she never ran for president because I don't want to endure living through another campaign where the Repukes bring up Gennifer Flowers, Monica, et al. I wonder if she wants to go through that herself, actually.

3. Love her
I am sure she is an inspiration to many people out there.

However, she seems a little hawkish on foreign policy (that's the impression I get).

I haven't been a close follower of her.

9. Shame on you all
never forget the most important vote of our time was the IWR, a test which save twenty-three senators she also failed.

11. Shame on me the, I guess.
I really think people need to get over the friggin' war vote. Instead of crucifying Senators for voting the wrong way let's turn the attack around on the Republicans and curse them for supplying misleading information.

12. She's OK...
I have people I admire more, but she's ok.

Her problem (as a candidate for higher office and as a senator) is that she is a lightning rod... all the Repukes need to do to raise money is say 'Hillary Clinton is...' and the money comes pouring in from the dittoheads.

Not her fault, but there it is.

I Love Hillary.
I hope to God that she is president one day.

She doesn't have to worry about Gennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky and Bill's wandering eye. Those things are actually good for her--it get's her the sympathy vote. To me it seems that she is EXTREMELY popular. I know I just spent the last two months in upstate New York and even the Republicans though she rocked. She has brought more money to New York than you could even imagine. And instead of naming everything after herself, like Sen. Byrd, she just acts like it's part of her duty.

She has shown such great humility in her first time. Not trying to overshadow, and thus piss-off, the other Senators but I think she is really the de facto head of the Party. Her, Byrd, Daschle and Kennedy I think pretty much run the show.

14. A woman of incredible intelligence, integrity, compassion, wit, and
charm. But also a woman who is hard as nails when it counts, unafraid to say what she thinks, and not worried about what others think of her.

Can you imagine what (I just can't think of the word to use) it must have taken to forgive her husband after what he did, and the public humiliation that she had to have felt? Somehow though, I'm sure Bill paid big time for his little fling(s). But forgive him she obviously did.

The whole Bill/Monica thing was nobody's business but theirs anyway. That's the part I hated, having to hear all the details. Because even if you didn't want to know, people forced it on you.

I hate it when people criticize her. They don't understand how much work she has done for poor people. And how much more she wanted to do when her husband was President.

16. I don't mind her so much. I don't particularly care for her speaking style
much. And her content seems canned most of the time. She learned a lot from hubby that will help her. Not sure if I'd want to hear that monotone voice four years if she became president.

17. As a Constituent
I'm unimpressed.

She is better than Boom Boom Schumer, if that counts for anything.

I wish there were something I could support her for...cause right now in my mind she's just another quisling for the war vote.

18. Again,
it's time to stop letting the IWR vote divide our party.
I spend the last few months in NY, and I got rave reviews from people about her from hardcore democrats to moderate Republicans.

20. Forgetting things is why we are in this mess
There is a limit to the number of things I can be asked to conveniently ignore...Elections 2000 and 2002, Patriot Act, Home Gestapo Act, Overtime, Healthcare, etc, etc ad. nauseum.

Short attention spans are a weapon of the GOP. Liberals like myself crave to understand and criticize positions.

21. I'm still angry about all those things.
But there's no point in holding a grudge against Senators that voted for IWR, but now say that they were misled and attack the President.

28. Opinions
of other NY'ers may, and often do, differ from mine.

I'll change my opinion of someone based on what I see, not what others feel.

As far as party unity goes, my opinion is that most of the sitting Dems are unified as quislings for the war vote. Not singling out Clinton on that matter.

30. Better?
Than D'Amato? She has the makings to be much better. I do not think she is worse.

Than Rudie? Don't know, Rudie hasn't been Senator. Though my politics I think are closer to Clinton.

22. Really?
I see her more as a woman in desperate need of approval because of her insecurities. I've taken some Psychology classes and to me she looks insecure a lot of the time...about her looks, her popularity, etc.

and came away respecting her more than I did before. Again, I did not agree with her war vote, but a single issue doesn't determine one's character.

29. She's not bad.
Certainly better than my two senators (Lott and Cochran :puke: ). I don't agree with some of her votes, but she still stands head and shoulders above most of the rest of her colleagues.

32. A good lady who should never run for president
She would be a great president, but she's too much a focal point for the hatred coming from the reich wing to be able to govern effectively.

But consider this: in President Clark's administration, the Clintons serve in the Cabinet--Secretary of State Bill and Attorney General Hillary. (Vice-President Edwards will be too occupied to be AG.)
