Latest spin: Iraqi scientists lied to Saddam... |
|
So Hussein, with a dozen 'palaces' all over the country and the obvious ability to go pretty much anywhere he wanted for years never bothered to check up on the alleged WMD "related program activities"? Anybody I know who had spent millions on ...well, pretty much anything, like real estate, or any other tangible property would have made some effort to eyeball the assets. I'm really trying to laugh... :eyes:

1. Did they lie to Bush too? |
|
Unless the scientists lied to Bush too, then I don't see what good this spin does.

2. Well, there isn't much doubt there were lots of goodies offered to them |
|
after the invasion for "information" that seems to have not been forthcoming. Hell, I could even imagine some of them making shit up just to be rewarded. That none of them apparently have is pretty telling, it seems to me. Maybe the Iraqi scientists have more integrity than the Shrub administration? That's something I can sure as hell imagine. ;-)

3. Let them spin that one all they like. |

I hope Bush and his gang start bandying that excuse. It only makes them look more incompetent (if that is possible).

So we had to stop Saddam before he decided to use his WMD on us, but then realized that he in fact had no WMD and just ended up looking like a fuckup...
Good thing we went to war.

5. WMD Related Program Activities? |
|
So far this is all we've uncovered:
The Doomsday Shelter Interior Design Shop
An Underground Air Freshener manufacturing plant
A toe-tag and body bag factory
A Fatwa Sandal Shop
An Uzi goldplating shop
A Statues of Monumental Construction Program
A Donkeycart Missile Defense Camouflage System
A Mobile Porta-Holes for Dictators Company
The Mother of All Looters Antique Emporium

6. Yes, but the Donkeycart Missile Defense System (DCMDS) |
|
was being upgraded to the Donkeycart Al-Islam Saddam 2000 Missile system. The new cart had a range of 40 feet which is 2 feet beyond what was allowed by the U.N.

7. The scientists lied to Saddam about what? |
|
Did they said there were WMDs, or that they weren't? Maybe it was Bush they "lied" to--as a result of being tortured.
