Pope John Paul's activities were a bit more lively than usual on Sunday.

Following the pontiff's regular Angelus, where he addressed the faithful from his window, the Pope had the opportunity to watch an energetic display of street art, which took place in the Vatican's austere Clementine hall.

Rappers, break-dancers and graffiti artists from the Polish Foundation Centre entertained the Pope with their own particular craft.

Following the performance, the Pope gave a brief speech calling on the youngsters not to waste their talents.
