The real losers in 2004 is Al Gore and Bradley

I had wily nilly voted for Gore in 2000 and was feeling sorry for him when he lost in the Supreme Court but I now I realize what a disaster he would have been if allowed to prevail.
In 2000 he made only one bad choice, Joe Liberman but did not learn from his blunder and sunk Dean also with him in 2004 by their
importune endorsements.

I am sure Dean would not have done so badly in Iowa if he did not have so many endorsements from such nincompoops.

I don't think it had much to do with Gore's endorsement. I think Gore's learned a lot more about Lieberman these past few years, which is why he didn't endorse Lieberman's campaign. I don't think he knew as much about the real Lieberman when he first chose him as his running mate.
