Kucinich disavows LIHOP on Hannity's radio show
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 06:55 PM by rumguy
I am listening to a stream of today's show right now. The interview with Kucinch is very good. Kucinich comes right out and says that "not for a minute" does he think Bush knew about 9/11 beforehand.

I've been circling around the LIHIP theory for awhile now. I honestly don't know what to think - it changes from week to week - honestly, more evidence is needed before anyone can say anyhing for certain. I do think there are honest questions that need answering.

But of all people, I would expect Kucinich to be "in the know" on this issue, and unafraid to speak out if he thought that Bush knew.

Has Kucinich ever said anything else about LIHOP?

1. As a puppet president*...
...Bush* might not have known beforehand. But those who are really running the government most certainly did.

2. I wouldn't expect a candidate to say anything else.
RFK publicly endorsed the Warren Report, but confided privately his belief in a conspiracy implicating the CIA, and that only the power of the presidency could reveal the truth.

3. He's gotten some flack on this--
--on the Kucinich listserves. Not sure what he knows, but he absolutely refuses to run a campaign smacking of anything negative. He has called for 9/11 investigation on the grounds that divisions in the nation can't be healed unless we have a picture of what happened.

7. MIHOP is pure conjecture, hardly grounded in reality
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 09:08 PM by rumguy
LIHOP has several different versions, with varying degrees of knowledge possessed by the Bush admin. prior to 9/11

Some versions of LIHOP really border more an a form of deliberate negligence, which is what I worry might have happened...

8. MIHOP>More like...an Alternate Reality.
Seriously.

If LIHOP means no more than deliberate negligence, it's a subject that can be discussed sensibly. But probably never proven. At least 'til a Democratic Admin takes over the WH next Jan. Some degree of negligence has been demonstrated in numerous reports.

Trouble is, it is very difficult to have such discussions without getting into fringe territory--disappearing jetliners, EarthQuake machines. The newest: Bush is a Space Alien.

This thread will soon be extended to hundreds of posts. Most nonsense.
