Sadaam Bluffed?
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 09:43 PM by dennis4868
I am hearing the media whores defend Bush and his crime team by saying that Sadaam bluffed when he said he had WMD....Of course the facts are not important to them but Sdaam told the world before the war that he DID NOT HAVE ANY WMD. Where is the bluff?

1. If Dubya was a cop, this would be his defense.....
"Hey it was dark...I couldn't see...everybody said the kid had a gun...I didn't know it was a water pistol...when he raised it up, I shot him with a cruise missile..."

the C.I.A. because they seem to be incompetent.

4. Here is the whole truth in context.

Saddam's scientists lied to him and told him they had made massive quantities of weapons of mass destruction.

Saddam knew this wasn't true, but he bluffed and pretended he did have them by saying he didn't, and fooled the CIA.

Then in a very sophisticated manner, he hid the weapons of mass destruction in Syria and Iran, all the while defying America with a vicious campaign of deception and denial and continuing to wish he had weapons of mass destruction and inviting the press in to examine the weapons of mass destruction Colin Powell had proof of.

By this time the CIA had given bush the faulty intelligence and now the whole world knew that Saddam's weapons of mass destruction were an imminent threat, which could destroy the whole world in 45 minutes because there were Iraqis with the intellectual capacity to produce weapons of mass destruction and at least one scientist had drawn some pictures of weapons of mass destruction and buried them in the rose garden while Saddam was deceiving the weapons inspectors by not putting weapons of mass destruction in any of the places they looked, even though he really wished he had some.

6. Then the Assyrians, with all of Saddams
WMD boarded the boat to Antarctica. There plan is chimpproof. Blast all the glaciers into the ocean, cause water levels to rise instantaneously, and drown Tel Aviv.

Saddam at any rate knew he had no deterrent, much less a real threat and knew also he was years away from doing anything about that and years at best away from a death by cancer. I don't buy that scientists actually having anything real could bluff Hussein, but they could bs about plans. US Intel could only guess beyond what they could see- nothing. The WH gamed a pretext plan. Simple. Maybe we can elect Congressmen who can see through their own some day and who do mind giving warmongers that extra inch for wholesale murder and theft.

The only striking thing is another in an infinite list of media sheep bleating lamer and lamer excuses until everyone just grows tired and confused, meanwhile inching the spotlight away from rather blatant WH manipulation of ANYTHING at hand to put a fig leaf on a predetermined war of aggression.

Just keep posting the pictures of amputee children and bedraggled Hussein, oil wells and dead US soldiers. Obviously words mean little in America and are diminishing in sanity if Britain as well.

8. I'm with you on this one. More of the Bushies and the media framing the
issue with their lies and distortions. We are much smarter than they give us credit for. This shit is ridiculous!! And more and more of our children are being killed every day in Iraq for Bush's invasion and occupation.
