CBS: Pakistan Slams Door On U.S. Troops

Pakistan will not allow U.S. troops to use its soil for a planned "spring offensive" against Taliban or al Qaeda fugitives, officials said Thursday.

Brig. Javed Iqbal Cheema, who as chief of the National Crisis Management Cell coordinates with U.S. officials in the war against terrorism, said Pakistan's policy did not allow U.S. troops to operate inside the country.

"As a matter of fact they (the United States) have not contacted us for this purpose," he told The Associated Press.

The problem with tribal areas, is that foreigners stand out no matter what clothing they wear. Even special forces with beards, eating local food (to smell the same) and local weapons.. are still foreigners... might as well have stars and bars tatooo'd on their foreheads.

This whole storry made no sense: why would we TELL THEM we were coming in spring??? Isn't the element of suprise worth anything to these idiots in the Bush* administration? Or, is it all a set up?

If i tell you that a homeland security agent is breaking in to houses in your neighborhood to discover the tax records of citizens who have fudged their expenses claims, were you not aware of the tools of propaganda, all the people who were concerned that such records might be incriminating, would call home to make sure such records were safe.

By ICT surveillance, we monitor all the calls home, and only send the homeland security teams to those suspect homes where guilty people live.

The same technique is in operation with this mispropaganda. The best rule is to do nothing and kill whomever comes near your hole. OBL surely has loyal agents across the entire region where he lives who monitor all special forces movements, while playing friendly.
