O'Reilly: Conservative Says Liberalism a Mental Disorder

This was a real winner, I hardly know where to start. On the Craptor tonight O'Dummy had a 17 year old conservative kid on the show who said liberalism was a mental disorder

The kid is nuts, he even looked like a skin head serial killer. He sat there with his head cocked to one side, and he had that scary crazy look of a nut-job. O'Reilly billed the kid as a regular conservative who put out a conservative newsletter at his school. He said the kid was getting harrassed just because he was a conservative. Then you find out the real truth as soon as you see the kid and hear him talk.

He put out a school newsletter saying liberalism is a mental disorder. And the school is full of liberals, so how smart was that. And if you do that are you surprised when you get harrased. The funny part is he seemed to have the mental disorder.

He also said all the teachers were liberals and they were involved in some conspiracy to make everyone hate Bush and vote democrat. It was hard to catch all of his conspiracy talk because O'Reilly cut him off, he knew the kid was coming off as a nut with that talk so he bailed him out. When asked to name one, he could not do it, he said the math teacher and the science teacher.

At this point if the kid was a liberal O'Reilly would say your spinning, name them. But the kid was a conservative so of course O'Reilly moved on and gave him a pass.

During the whole segment O'Reilly was giving the kid advice on how to be a good and smart conservative. He supported the kid, and he told him to stop using the inflammatory language.

Does anyone believe O'Reilly would have had this kid on the show if he were a liberal and he said conservatism is a mental disorder ?

If you do I have some land to sell you.

Do you believe O'Reilly would have softballed the kid if he were a liberal saying those inflammatory words ?

Of course not, he would have hammered the kid if he were a liberal.

Do you believe this kid would have even got on the show if he were a liberal ?

Of course not, if this kid was a liberal, and he said conservatism was a mental disorder, O'Reilly would have probably called ashcroft to investigate him.

At the end of the segment he told the kid if anyone bothers him again to let him know. What's O'Reilly gonna do, go to the kids school and beat em all up ?

The kid is a nut, he kept saying liberalism is a mental disorder, he said it 3 or 4 times during the segment. O'Reilly kept telling him to stop saying it because it ruined his credibility and made him look like a fool, but it never sunk in. It was like talking to a wall, the kid said it over and over. After O'Reilly told him to stop saying it for the 4th time, the kid just smiled and ignored O'Reilly again.

At the very end O'Reilly said well you are just 17 years old so I am not going to beat up on you.

The kid was insane, and O'Reilly was insane to even do the segment. If a liberal kid said conservatism was a mental disorder he would never get on the factor, and O'Reilly would probably want the kid put in a mental institution or something.

But since he was a conservative he gets on national TV and O'Reilly acted like big brother giving advice to his little brother.

I bet the kid reminded Bill of him at that age, he probably figured he could talk some sense into the kid by bringing him on the show and putiing him on tv.

Hey Bill, I don't thing it did any good, the kid actually thinks liberalism is a mental disorder. I don't agree with conservatives on most issues, but I do not in any way think conservatism is a mental disorder. I just think most conservatives only care about themselves, and about how rich they can get, and how little taxes they can pay. It's not a mental disorder, it's just not caring about anyone but yourself.

Thanks Bill for more proof you are a republican, nobody but another republican would have put this pyscho kid on the air. Let alone put him on the air to give him advice on how to be a good and smart conservative.

1. liberity is a mental disorder...
Which explains why Patrick Henry asked "Is life so dear or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? I know not what course others may take. But as for me, give me liberity, or give me death."

17. Those sick bastard Founding Fathers with their liberal mental diasorder!
It is funny, in an Anne Frank sort of way, how O'Reilly and the rest of the Right Wing Media utilize the "Mental Health" avenue to smear their enemies...just like their Old Pals, the Soviets!

Just like any other garden variety hypocrite (as oppsed to Hypocrites who are Prepared to Destroy the American Experiment and Plunge the World into Darkness and Pain), O'Reilly and the rest of the Party-Loyal Bushevik Sub-Media emulate the tactics of other Totalitarian Regimes, merely using different rationale for essentially the same tyranny..

You may recall that O'Reilly was the sick bastard who proposed that America start its own gulag.

Screw him and the Soviet bear he rode in on.

3. Savage Weiner has threatened to sue this kid
Because he steals Weiner's lines.

I heard this on his show tonight.

The sacriest thing about this stupid motherfucker is that he wants people to "report" liberal teachers, classmates, parents, and neighbors so they can be stopped or "corrected".

Its like the little asshole read 1984 and though, "hey, thats a good idea".

But, don't say that these neocons are fascist...

21. Its funny to listen to Savage beat up on Bush....
I caught some of his show last night too, right at the part where he's thinking about sueing that school kid unless he give pysco Savage credit for those quotes. Har!! These idiots are turning on themselves now.

But...its funny to listen to people who call in kissing ass on Bush get torn a new one by Savage. One idiot called him yaking about the economic recovery that Bush had engineered and how we should all vote for him again. Savage tore him a new one with deficit questions which left that guy stumbling around saying "Its only been four years, give him a break".

No dipshit, its only been three years and Bush has blown Clintons 250 billion surplus plus gone through another 450 billion on his own. Thats about 3/4 of a TRILLION $$$$ and you want him as President again??

4. Oh'Really got him on because of the Bay area news...
... on the matter, nothing more. Good news for the right-wing, except that the kid is a wacko, and Oh'Rahlly didn't have the sense to keep him off the air when he first met him.

The kid kept saying that liberalism was "a mental disorder" because he'd heard it somewhere without considering if there was a reason for thinking in that way, and guess where it came from:

"LIBERALISM IS NOT A PHILOSOPHY, LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER." -Michael Savage.

http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Michael_Moore/Woo_Hoo_Tax_Cut_DWMC.html

What we have here is a failure to think, at all. Oh'Really had him on to make a few points with the anal, uptight, fuck the world types, and the kid surprised him by being a total asshole who was mouthing invective from Michael Savage. Give this one time to bubble over--it will.

Cheers.

10. And........

O'Reilly asked the kid why he was a conservative, the kid said because he thinks
for himself and liberals dont. Yet he parrots the savage line about liberalism being
a mental disorder. If anyone don't think for theirself it's republicans, they march lock
step in line with Bush. Liberals speak out against other liberals if they disagree with
them. Republicans are like robots programmed to repeat the party line.

The kid came off a a pyscho, it will be interesting to see the mail from that segment.

7. Exactly!
The only way to be a conservative is to care about nobody but your own self! and to hell with anyone who gets in your way to making more money and paying less taxes. If you are a conservative, the only value you place on people is "what can I get out of this schmuck?"
A liberal would ask, "Geez, this guy seems down on his luck, what can I do to help him out?"

8. I sort of heard this one
Didn't the kid say liberals "hate" the military? He seemed to be mouthing the standard Freeper line of bullshit. You can just picture this boy sitting in front of his radio, awaiting to be programmed by Sean and Rush.

IMHO, the school shouldn't support any club with such extreme views, liberal or conservative. Let them act all crazy on their own time. It takes about two minutes to get a blog up and running. They can use that as a forum for their hatred. I do. Just kidding.

I can't think of any occasion where O'Reilly had on a 17-year-old liberal kid. Has he ever?

Poor kid. He's "persecuted." If these conservative children are so fucking sensitive to the "liberal agenda" of a public school, why in the Hell aren't they at private religious school? I never understood that logic.

15. That douche who started the "conservative club"?
I have nothing against him starting a conservative club, but the kid is not right in the head.

He'd fit in real well in 1930s Germany, though.

Used to be that in order to start an extracurricular "club" you had to have a teacher or other school staff person (i.e. nurse or librarian) as an advisor. Is this no longer the way schools do things?

18. Hitler encouraged thugs to beat his opponents. This smacks of encouraging
the scarier and more hateful elements of the culture wars to get bold in schools but maybe learn a little media polish. O'Reilly pretends to admonish the child but it's with a wink and a nod.

Keep your eyes out for brown shirts and military recruiters working on our children in schools. The culture war is raging.

Ann Coulter made lots of money saying what this sad child says.

20. I caught the tail end of it---gawd what a pussy...
O'Reilly should have asked the kid if he has EVER kissed a girl--right there on National TV and watched that idiot stumble around.

Just seeing the little bit that I saw the punk came off as nothing more than a little whiner. Sure pal, your neo-nazi politics is all that should be discussed at your school. I guess he spends all his time watching Whore TV and thinks the whole World is controled like that.

Oh yeah, after being made to look like a fool on National TV he also has Savage after him for ripping off his quotes. Should have just stayed home and popped pimples or something...

23. Along those lines...
I participate in several on-line forums, and I see a disturbing trend of younger and younger rabid republicans. When I was in college (too long ago to contemplate), there was a small group of college republicans. We used to laugh them off when they would talk.

However, I am seeing lots of kids in the late high-school age group spouting this vile crap. Do they get this from their parents? This one poor kid would try to spout his crap, and we were merciless and hammered him. He really didn't see that he lived a life of privilege (He thought he was disadvantaged cause at 16 his parent bought him a USED Acura Legend. The horror!)

Unfortunately, there are too many cases like this out there.

25. In my high school (Colorado Springs)
Almost everybody was a conservative, but for the most part things remained civilized (this was between 1999 and 2003). I guess a good way to describe a lot of my friends would be to call them the "petty nobility", people who live comfortably but exaggerate their own wealth and social status. Some of these kids seem to think that they are entitled to almost everything based on the fact that their dad drives a Mercedes (which he probably bought at a repo auction) and their mom drives an SUV. I wouldn't call myself wealthy, and I like to think I have some empathy for those less fortunate. These kids, on the other hand, seem to think that if people can't be like them it's their own fault for being lazy. Never mind the fact that they were just born into their above-average family and they've never earned a buck in their entire life...

I guess all I can say about this jerk on O'Reilley is that he's taken it to the next level.
