Poll question: Poll: Who is your favourite African-American politician?
This one is even harder.
I think African-Americans are probably the most important constiuency in our party and the CBC rocks the House... literally. So no one is a loser, let's just have fun with polls.

GOD I love all of them. There's not even room to put the rest of them in, so yáll just have to choose from these ones.

1. I had to choose Jesse Jackson.
He's the reason I'm involved in politics today.
But I love Sharpton.
And damn I love Rangel.

After a career in politics, Sharpton should do stand-up comedy.

3. According to Michael Moore
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 07:37 AM by rpf113
he votes with the Republicans 50% of the time. Is that true? (Harold Ford Jr., that is)

I wish Charlie Rangel would be Speaker.

5. Harold Ford claimed that Nancy Pelosi was "too liberal".
He's an opportunist turncoat.

This kind of polling needs to stop, its just ridiculously slanted and usually loaded with malicious intent.

7. John Conyers
He may not ever win speaker of the year, but he is very consistent, he will take up unpopular causes on principle-he took on former Gov. Engler over the treatment of women in Michigan prisons, and he was at one point recently answering his office phone "House Impeachment Commitee". He's also in office until he retires-his constituents love him.

10. Yeah, where is John
I get to shake his hand every year. He gets overshadowed by the Levin bros but he is in there fighting the good fight.

And when his two terms are up, President Sheila Jackson-Lee, and when her two terms are up, President Barbara Lee, and when her two terms are up, President Cynthia McKinney.
