I love Tom Daschle. He's so soft spoken, yet he manages to irk the Republicans like no one else.

7. Daschle is a nice guy but he ain't no leader

and as far as your pole....I would say, none of the above. Dick Durbin of Illinois is my favorite. He has a set of stones and he isn't afraid to use them. He speaks well off the cuff and unlike Daschle is not cowed by Rethuglicans.
