Let's say we capture Osama |
|
Or, to put it the correct way, we let him out of his hotel room--
What if he says--
He had nothing to do with 911 and had no idea it was going to happen (except for vague rumors)
He has no connections with Hussein or anyone in Iraq and in fact think that they are all infidels
He is fully aware of the monetary links between his family and the Bushes (and by the way thanks for the loan)
He has, in preparation for his possible capture, arranged for other leaders to take over, thus making his capture pointless
Wouldn't this make the whole Osama-capture thing fall flat?

If he says he has nothing to do with 911 - he will be lying. Particularly since he was captured on tape basically laughing about how the hijackers on 911 were so malleable (my word not his).
I don't think he has any links to SH in Iraq and has, I believe already referred to SH as an infidel.
Of course he is aware of the monetary links.
Yes, capturing Bin Laden may be a coup for the Bushies, but it will not stop Al Quaeda.
I am ABB, but I still would be happy if Osama were caught. I just think our efforts over the past year should have been focused on catching OBL instead of attacking a country to satisfy a Bush family vendetta.

10. Jeeeezuz!! I can't believe there are still people around who think that |
|
was Bin Laden on that fake ass tape. I thought it was common knowledge by now. That little piece of propaganda, as pathetic as it was, did it's job anyway, didn't it. Jeeeeeez. Everytime somebody talks about that fake tape it makes me ill.

2. They would not let him live long enough to say any such thing. |
|
And if they did capture him, think about the consequences. I do not mean higher popularity for shrub, either. At this point, I think even that would be temporary for him. He is going to lose the election. I mean worldwide, renewed terrorist attacks.
Osama would tell them to fight on.

3. Laughing, while evil, does not mean he knew anything |
|
I think we'll discover that Osama is not the mastermind we thought he was. And Bush will still have discovered who was actually behind 911. Will America care that we still know nothing about who actually caused 911?

5. even if Osama is captured |
|
it will not be the end for the Al Quaeda. What do they really have going for them? It would take a full generation to get their children away from the elders and in schools to educate them and let them know that there is a better way of life then living in caves and eating once a day, when i used to see pictures of them fighting the Russians years ago, they just seemed happy sleeping on the ground and shooting people. America went into the 21 century and it looks they are still in the 17th. I look at the young people and think they don't even have a clue as to why they are in those gangs killing people, if they are not fighting outsiders they want to fight each other.. but i guess there is no jobs other than Herding goats. We can't do a damn thing for any of the people over there until we have honest people in our own government that actually want to help people instead of their own personal adgenda.. the way to start helping is stop all the weapons(gun power and anything to make a bomb) going into the country, we have to make it clear to all their neighboring countries to seal their borders and if we find them in violation, they are our enemy even in Iraq, we should have took every weapon as we went Thru-- you don't overlook a gun that can shoot you in the back while you are walking away.. If we had left Iraq alone and let Saddam just be the Mayor of Baghdad and that's all he was in the end-he had to go but all the atrosities that he done was our fault after the first gulf war, we left the kurds hanging by them selves. we had the fly overs that kept Saddam under control-he was someone that could have been taken out without the bombs and military and all the lives. Anyway our military could have spent the past year in Afghan finishing the job- going thru every inch of the land and roundng up the gangs and sorting them out-- get some schools set up and some kind of work building homes and it wouldn't have cost us anywhere near what this mess Bush has got us in-I didn't pay much attention when Russia was fighting there, but i think they brought Russia to their knees- not that they every will us but it looks like if Bush is put back in the WH there will be a draft and another half mil troops will be in the middle east. It's a bitch when you have to kill people to save lives. JMHO

You mean to tell me we wasted all those soldiers' and civilians' lives when he was doomed to die in a matter of years anyway?

9. Like that would happen? |
|
How much air-time has Saddam had to inform Americans that they supplied him with the only chemical weapons in Iraq?
How much first-hand information has made it into the public arena since the infamous "spider-hole" episode?
If you believe that Osama would ever have a chance of revealing ANY of the truth, I'd like to borrow some money from you ... of course you'll get it back ... honest ...
No, the best you will get would be a drugged prisoner being hauled out of a cave (nope, did that with Saddam) or maybe a dramatic last stand leading to an almost recognisable corpse (nope, did that with Saddam's children) or a "shot by accident while conducting a raid" (yep, think that's still on the shelf) to show that this episode is really over now (nothing more to see here, of course we always tell the truth).

12. bin laden has been dead since December 2001. He died from kidney disease |
|
which he was treated for, most recently, at the American Hospital in Dubai, on or about July 16th, 2001.
There are no photos, video tape or (verified) audio tape or writings from the man since December of 2001.
His corpse is propped up by the bush regime for fear mongering and terra-alerts to keep the masses intimidated.
