Poll question: Has bin Laden already captured Bush?
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 09:18 AM by Minstrel Boy
There's that lengthy family history to consider, and Bush's indebtedness for the clan rescuing his oil business and making him his first million.

Then, after taking office, he ignored the outgoing Administration's advice on al Qaeda; halted the FBI's investigation of the bin Laden money trail; ended the deployment of attack subs that had been stationed within striking distance of bin Laden camps since 1998; surreptitiously flew Osama's family members out of the US when no Americans were able to fly; had Tommy Franks reveal after the invasion of Afghanistan that his capture was not an objective, then surrounded Tora Bora on three sides, halted the advance and permitted his safe evacuation to Pakistan; and reluctantly approved, underfunded and stonewalled an independent investigation into the attacks.

So, has bin Laden already captured Bush?

Perhaps that will be the real October Surprise.
