American Family Radio criticized Bush yesterday

I appologize if someone has already beaten me to this.

I live in Mississippi, truly the belly of the Republican beast. Driving home from work yesterday, I happened upon the American Family Radio network. AFR is an ultra-conservative "Christian" network that makes Faux seem truly fair and balanced.

Anyhow, I was amazed and delighted to hear the host of the talk show I was listening to criticize Bush harshly for spending money, in his words, "like a drunken sailor." This wasn't a single reference. I listened for about 20 minutes and the guy just kept on knocking Bush, though being careful to couch his criticism in the context of Bush being a "Godly" man who just needed some proper advice.

If Bush is making the folks at AFR mad, he may well be in danger of losing his base. All we need is for some of these folks to stay home on election day and Chimpy will be toast.
