Is this the dumbest quote yet from a Bush apologist?
"Consider what will happen if we get into a confrontation with Syria or Iran or China and the President -- this one or the next -- claims that the enemy poses an imminent threat? Given the smear campaign of the "anti-war" Democrats, who is going to believe him? "
David Horowitz

Gee David, wouldn't it help if the President was honest? So your saying basically that if the President uses faulty intelligence, or worse lies, and his political opponents call him on it, then they are the ones discrediting our country. What great logic. Now next time I lie about something, I will just blame the people who call me on it for trying to make me look dishonest.

5. The problem with straws.
Either it's the straw that breaks the camel's back or it's the one they are grabbing in desperation. Which will prevail?

You can almost smell the desperation.

They have to give their base someting to chew on, they can't be to blame. So when all else fails LIE!!! And hope no one catches you on it. You can only go to the well so many times.

"Everyday you take your bucket to the well.
One day the bottom gonna drop out."
-- Jamaican proverb

The problem with lying about everything is that you lose track of what you lied about. The Bush Administration has already done that numerous times.
