Take a guess-What will be W's Friday Whopper? |
|
They have done this over and over. If there is anything negative to report or something that they don't want to get any media attention W&Co. release it on Friday afternoon or right before a holiday.
Enviromental policy is one of their favorites. Notice that McClellan made his "we never said 'imminent threat'" statement late in the day of the New Hampshire primary, it was totally swallowed up in the media blizzard.
AS it is Super Bowl weekend this would seem the opportune time.
So what do you think it will be?

1. Someone get Skinner to make this a regular feature. |

Something will go down tomorrow, I assure you -- perhaps a poll on possible bad news we all can vote on?

2. A big one to start out the list of Friday News Dump |
|
Would be the statement "The US economy braked fiercely in the last quarter of 2003, slowing to an unexpectedly low 4.0 percent annualized growth pace as consumer spending dried up." This is big bad news.
