Democratic Scandals vs. Republican Scandals |
|
Democratic Scandals: Clinton has an affair with Lewinsky.
Republican Scandals: Watergate, secret bombing of Cambodia, using the IRS to harass law-abiding American citizens, using the FBI to spy on law-abiding American citizens, the assassination of Salvador Allende, the October Surprise, Iran-Contra, bombing Nicaraguan harbors, importing cocaine into this country and starting the crack epidemic, the S&L scandal, purging registered voters in Florida in 2000, partisan Supreme Court ruling, failing to heed the warnings about 9/11, lying about Iraq WMD, etc. etc.
Just to keep things in perspective.

7. Exactly, Whitewater was the later etst of the New Party-Loyal Sub-Media's |
|
abiltiy to fabricate scandals and sucker the weakened, parasitized Corporate Press.
It worked.
The Clintons were exonerated, but of course you wouldn;t know that if you watched TV and even if you read the newspapers (the least corrupted of the medias at present) you might not have caught the Page D17 Style section news on the subject.

9. Maybe Whitewater should be in the Republican column then. |
|
If it turned out to be a waste of taxpayer money. I didn't really follow it at the time, but I was just throwing it out there.

8. That was the Busheviks |
|
The operation was planned during Ike's administration.
The only foolish thing Kennedy did was listen to the Busheviks at the time. He wasn't the first Democrat who failed to understand that the Busheviks are not loyal to America but to THEIR Amerika. Which is much closer to the British Empire the Founding Fathers rebelled against than the Founding Dads themselves.
Kennedy realized this later, and in several speeches prior to his death indicated that he was going to bring the CIA to heel.
He was killed not too long after, though I'm sure that was a coincidence.

11. Yeah, I remember Clinton was scandal plagued |
|
Remember when he had coffee and muffins with his big donors? You have to admit that it did look as if he was paying back their donations with favors linked to the amount they gave. Of course it's not as if president's haven't been doing this for decades - the only reason it was a big deal was because it was a detailed and itemized system to reward big donors - totally unlike the system that Bush has been so roundly criticized for :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: I guess we should all be thankful that George hasn't turned the Whitehouse into a bed and breakfast, because that would be so much worse than letting donors write energy and healthcare legislation.

13. JUST ON THE MISTRESSES.... |
|
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 06:59 PM by jansu
Bush I had a mistress which he gave a job to in the State Department, (I think it was there). Her job paid $92,000.00.
Clinton had a mistress, her government job paid @ $23,000.00.
The American people paid for both of these men's sex. But the difference, is like all things, the Republicans over pay for everything and the Democrats save us money!
