It's 3;30 in the afternoon... |
|
the temperature is 6 degrees and the wind chill is -10. There's about 10 inches of snow on the ground. I look out my front window to see a chap about the size of a middle-linebacker in a suit and in a late model car with his window part way down...staring at my house. Now he's on a cell phone! Any suggestions?

he's STILL there, about twenty minutes now (at least thats when I first noticed him) and he has donned a pair of glasses and appears to be reading something. I could go out the back and sneak up from behind and get that license number. If I just disappear from the board...pray for me.

duct tape - if it can protect you from terrorists it certainly should be able to handle this!

11. After getting the boots on... |
|
and walking around the corner...he has pulled away! Guess maybe I shoulda just went out the front and confronted him, but then again it's a public street and he need say nothing if I questioned him. Guess I may as well prepare for an invasion by the stormtroopers. :scared:

7. I'd take some pics first |
|
and then go out and ask him if he needs some help? Are you friends with any of your neighbors? See if you can get someone to accompany you. Then you also have a witness and there is safety in numbers. Or just call the cops and say the guy seems suspicious.

9. He may be an appraiser |
|
and look for equal value (that's not the term but it works) homes. It happened to us.
He could be from your mortgage company, doing an appraisel of your house.
Go ask him, but if you can, arm yourself with something first.

Get license and photos. Then call the cops.
Some questions. Are you by any chance on sick leave or collecting workmans comp? Are you involved in any litigation? Insurance claims? etc.

with the flu, but I don't believe my boss would spy on me. Our company consists of only 20 or so employees. I do appreciate everyone's concern, and it did have me on edge.
