My biggest worry...
It seems to me every day we seem more and more likely to win the election... Already won in 2000, I seriously doubt many Dems went republican since then. A higher percent of Democrats will come out to vote this year, after the anger of the last election, while Repubs will have no more incentive than ever. A new lie of the Bush adminestration is revealed every day.

But in this is my biggest worry of all:

They stole the election once. What's gonna stop them from doing it again?

I don't see -any- situation in which we can't out-vote Bush in November. He's just doing TOO horribly. But what good does it do when he can manipulate the election?

3. The very fact
that people are worried about this and paying attention will make it much harder for them to pull off again.

2. Exit polls and a huge marginal difference.
We have to get enough votes so they can't cheat.
Also, exit polls told us about Florida. We wouldn't have known about the mess down there if CBS hadn't reported the huge numbers of people who said they voted for Gore.
We may need to be prepared to do our own exit polls if the media doesn't.

5. Agree
Worry #1:
-Stolen election (BBV/Diebold).

Worry #2:
-Manipulative "Oct surprise" (Osama on ice etc.) winning over easily manipulated electorate.

6. What can we do
about BBV threat aside from trying to call attention, get publicity on this topic, and generate a Dem landslide so that cheating would be too obvious?

7. We Can Constantly Reming the Media...
that we are WATCHING. We will not allow them to spread administration BS and we will question the reporters. I am not sure how effective it will be on the national level (ie CNN, MSRNC, FAUX, etc.) but it DOES work on the local level. LTTE's and calling and writing your local television stations does work. When you see unbalanced reporting or when you see blatant misinformation reported as fact, call them on it!!!!!

9. Pull Osama out of a hole, blow up a truck or two, and voila.
Instant compliant populace.

I know both of these things are a bit tinfoil hat, but I think it's quite within the realm of possibilities. Operation Northwoods existed as a plan at one point. I don't put anything past these sorts of people.

Look at Perle- hell, he alone could organize a little domestic terror campaign. And in his mind, I'd bet it would even be the right thing to do. If you want to put "an end to evil", you gotta break a few eggs, he might say.

10. My worry
By the shrub taking all these anti-conservative positions such as Mars and the amnesty program that he would produce widespread anger on the right and left which would give him a reason to cancel the elections.
