4. hate to say i told you so
but, i told you so

the ad becomes a story and EVERYBODY sees it over and over and over and over

and it don't cost MoveOn dime one!

sweet?

p.s. i did NOT expect it to be CBS that had to tell the story.

extra sweet!

6. Yes, and for those who have been painting CBS news in the same
broad strokes as CBS entertainment, despite the repeated Rather digs at the Bush admin over the past months.... I hope this reassures you.

5. They said that it's okay to show
the White House's ad because no one else is advocating drug abuse. So the alternative to their insane war on drugs is advocacy of drug abuse, huh?

11. actually, not a bad idea
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 07:10 PM by plurality
if you've seen Chris Rock's "Head of State" you'll know what I'm talking about.

In it they have an ad with a KKK guy saying, "I hate (bigoted terms for Jews, gay, blacks, hispanics, etc) and that's why I'm voting for (whatever the Republican guys name was)"

I think something like that could be very effective, why hasn't anyone done an ad like that yet?

9. They even advertised the ad on cbsnews.com:
Here is the link where you can find the ad; scroll to the video of "Bush in 30 seconds".

I feel better about watching Dan Rather on the evening news, now. I had been boycotting them.

15. First time I saw the ad
So, thanks for the heads up.

Glad to see them interview the spokesman from moveon.org

Also, they ran a good story about the predictable profit-making now coming out of the Medicare Bill.

Thanks for the heads up!

Kanary
