This whole scenario has been gamed out for months. They have either snookered Tenet into a hole or he is complicit in the cover-up.
I think it will take a major rebellion from the rank and file to blow the lid off of this one.

3. Or is Bush/Tenet holding criminal evidence on each other? |
|
How else to explain the intel failures of 9/11, but Bush says George is A-OK?
And after the WMD intel failures, Bush still doesn't seem inclined to can Tenet.
Wonder why that is?
OTOH, Tenet is letting the CIA take a lot of heat....Senator Sue Collins said today that she's wondering whether she should believe the CIA intelligence estimates on North Korea. Just more damage this administration is laying on the CIA trying to blame them for the political framing of the intel that they alone are responsible for.

4. Senator Collins went to Iraq and came back convinced |

Edited on Mon Feb-02-04 07:44 PM by Marianne
that Bush's slaughter was justified because she saw the "mass graves" that the wicked Saddam was resonsible for. She took the money and the publicity Bush gave her in order to win over a perfectly better candidate, Chelee Pingree, who did not have the money Collins did. This woman is a slut for Bush --we are stuck with her boot licking tongue.
I am getting very tired of Democrats supporting these two Bobsey twins. Neither of them are on our side. Period. It is time Decmocrats stop with the mythologizing of these two opportunist women. They are not an asset to Democrats at all. They are biding their time, successfully skirting around the issues and coming out smelling like roses because of it.
Time to get Snowe out of there. She is playing the game and is doing nothing for Democrats.

6. Believe me, I totally agree! I met Chellie and she was 10X the |

person Collins is. Collins is on something, not sure what-maybe Prozac, but she definitely a mouth puppet for this administration. It depresses me to think the people of Maine would vote this bozeo back in when Chellie would have been a far superior Senator for this State.
I kind of wonder if she realizes how potentially damaging her comments could be to Bush? It underscores the damage this WH is doing when it takes apolitical intel and makes it into something it's not.

2. did you hear Ray McGovern on Alternative Radio today? |
|
he was inspirational and he laid out all the lies, including Goebbels statement that you can get people, even in a democracy, to do invade anyone for dishonest reasons by telling them they're in danger and by calling those against the war unpatriotic.

5. Brzenski (sp?) was on NPR this afternoon gunning for Tenet |
|
"intelligence failures" "heads must roll" "accountability in goverment" (of course only those to take the blame).
I wonder what Tenet's move will be. Wingnuts are saying he's a holdover from Clinton so that's the problem. (of course, no one mentions OSP, Cheney, Rumfilled, Perle, Wolfowitz as being the whores who pushed the Chimpanzee to Iraq).
I wonder what Tenet will do. Another JFK in Dallas perhaps? (I hope not, I couldn't stand for Chimp to be made into a martyr. I personally hope he has a long retirement on the pig farm and dies a natural death at the age of 109)

no one says that the DIA, Department of State, Army Military Intelligence, and the Department of Energy all disagreed with the NIE that PNAC/OSP/CIA put out saying that Iraq had WMD, and that Bush and Cheney still went ahead and said that, "there is no doubt that Iraq has WMD." All of these agencies named above were left out of the NIE that was released in October 2002 and were pretty much ignored by Bush and Cheney....Why wont anyone in the media tell the people this instead of saying everyone thought Saddam had WMD?

why is he taking this lying down? I think it's more of Cheney holding something over his head. Something seriously stinks with this one.
